Shrimanta Shankar Academy has a large school campus encompassing 2 acres (8094 square meters) of land. The total built up area is around 8885 square meters.
The school provides an open and free environment for the physical, mental and spiritual development of the students. The school campus comprises of the various classrooms, administrative building, a library, a large open playground and spacious parking lot as well. There are several rooms that cater to the extra co-curricular activities that a student may invest upon. An auditorium is also present for hosting various events and ceremonies.
The school has fully equipped science laboratories fully stocked with equipments that follow the requirements laid down by the CBSE curriculum.
There are separate laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, Biology along with a composite laboratory for conducting practical experiments and bringing concepts to life .
The school has two computer laboratories for secondary level classes(Class V – Class X) and Higher Secondary (Class XI – Class XII) respectively.
The school laboratories equipped with the latest software and technology along with 24*7 power backup facilities. Furthermore, the entire laboratory is Wi-Fi enabled which enables students and teachers to access the internet for educational research purposes.
There are a total of 130 computers available in the school campus along with 3 printers for the access of teaching staff and students.
The school has a large library of around 5590 square meters. The library has a wide collection of books for the curious minds of the students, covering a vast amount of topics. There are two librarians who look over the library.
The school has a playground to facilitate the physical education of the students as well as playing any outdoor sports. The playground has an area of 3035.14 square meters.
The playground is suitable for various outdoor sports such as cricket, football, kabaddi etc. It is also suitable for hosting various sport events.
With a yoga hall situated on the ground floor, the school offers in house yoga experience to the students.The yoga floor is spacious and accommodating to a large number of students at once. The hall is well supplied with mats and cushions for conducting the classes.
Our experienced yoga instructors nurture both the body and mind of the students for an all-round development of the students. We also celebrate World Yoga Day to spread awareness of the importance of yoga in our daily lives.
The school provides buses for the transportation of its students as well as the faculties. This allows the students to reach the school comfortably and on time.
